Hi everyone. I thought it was time for an update from “BLOG Central”.
Believe it or not, we’ve posted about 80 BLOGS since March 31st. Wow, that sounds like a lot. So, if someone joins us now, they are 80 behind…they may have missed some of the “best” (or “worst”) ones we’ve posted. What to do???

Well, as you know we only publish “fresh exciting new BLOGS” Monday thru Friday. So…what if we posted “the best of the old” on the weekend…the result being that no one has “blog withdrawal” and our new readers can gradually get caught up. Sounds brilliant to me. If we posted 2 old ones per weekend, you could catch up in about 10 months…yikes.
“George the Monkey” had another idea. What about a “BLOG Christmas Edition”…100 of our best posts in an attractive hardbound book with a picture of George on the cover. Order now and you get the discounted rate of $50 each. If we sold 100,000 copies that would be $5.0 million. I could retire and stop doing the BLOG.
Well anyway, I’ll be discussing this with my Board of Directors… (my daughter Cath, son Jon, and my idol “George the Monkey”.) Feel free to chime in with your comments.
I got all excited, seeing a blog post on a Saturday!!! Wow,,Dad, 80 already? They’ve been at A and above so whatever you decide to do, I’ll be thrilled with. Love you.

great idea. I think each day’s blog is great with a fantastic message. A reminder of blogs past with a short – “hey remember this one” would be awesome!

We all leave our “mark” in life, for good or bad. Some put it in writing, others hear about the person’s adventures by word of mouth. One of your gifts Dave is to “put it in writing”. Two quotations that have encouraged me to write are as follows: “REGRET- The bitterest tears shed over graves are for words left unsaid and deeds left undone.” (Harriett Beecher Stowe); and “You don’t write because you want to say something; you write because you’ve got something to say.” (F. Scott Fitzgerald) For we fathers and grandfathers, our target audience to share with has to be our adult children, grandchildren and hopefully our great grandchildren. Friend in Christ, Mike L.
