Many think that we’re really getting our arms around this world… a few more developments, new computer chips, and we’ve got it made.
Well, let’s be honest. Sure we’ve got more gadgets to fool with… but gee, I don’t think we’ve got things under our control. We can “hold our breath or jump up and down or send a text”, but we can’t even control the weather.
Wow, Hurricane Ida hit New Orleans with 150 mph winds. The storm dumped rain Wednesday night — several inches per hour — bringing flooding that killed at least 23 people in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland, with waters rushing into homes and vehicles.” Everyone I know has a story of almost getting swept away while driving, or water flooding their homes, rivers flooding streets and businesses. When the rain was coming down last night, I thought if it doesn’t stop, we have no answer to this…. so we prayed. The only time I remember anyone having an answer for the weather was Jesus when he calmed the sea before the apostles went down with the ship. (Mk. 4:34-39)
So, let’s make our list of problems and catastrophes lurking around the next corner. (You know the list) Our only hope is to put our lives into the hands of the one who calmed the sea. Jesus is the only answer to all our dangers and snares.
So, let’s really be smart and put our trust in the Lord. He will be there to help us, no matter what’s coming around the corner. And that’s really good news.

Some times we forget that NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD🙌🏻!!! We forget to ask for his help in every part of our day most esp when we read or listen to the news. Prayer is the answer in most situations 🙌🏻✝️🙏🙌🏻
