May this Giant of the Church rest in peace.
Pope Benedict was a wonderful and holy priest and bishop and Pope. We were so blessed to have him as a great leader for these many years… a great theologian, a saintly man. He oversaw and wrote much of the Catechism of the Catholic Church…he was a wonderful confident and right hand man to St. Pope John Paul II. His contributions to the church and his great care of the church are too many to be counted. He was humble…a man of prayer.
The Church will miss him greatly. I will miss him greatly. Pope Benedict pray for us.
May the Lord welcome you home to his Father’s House.

Pope Benedict made us feel protected during his pontificate. If we heard bad news, we knew he would take care of it as Jesus did. He gave us confidence that the Church was headed in the right direction. That may have resulted in the laity being more relaxed. Since his retirement, evangelization has exploded. My faith means more to me now than ever in my life🙌🏻🎁
